We are excited to announce the launch of our second After-School site at Patrick Elementary School! 
Located in the heart of the southeast, the school building is surrounded by so many families who could make use of an after-school program. With the realization that state and federal funding cuts would eliminate the pre-existing program at Patrick, the Lighthouse approached the school to see if we could be a partner in keeping it running. A huge thanks to Canton City School District, Dr. Bush, and her staff at Patrick Elementary for making this happen and partnering with us to provide meaningful opportunities for even more students in our community this year. 
The program has started wonderfully, with lots of positive feedback from the students. Highlights include a team-building class that uses soccer as the classroom, robotics with One Bite at a Time, and art classes making Christmas ornaments to celebrate the upcoming holidays. All activities where students can learn, connect, build confidence and have a lot of fun! We’re so excited to see how our students engage and grow through this program.
